Our team ensure you the best care and to make your stay as pleasant as possible. The staff members can be identified by a badge affixed to their uniform which includes their name and position. Here are the people you will meet most often.

 

  • The doctor manages your medical care and informs you on your health condition, medical examinations and ongoing treatments
  • The health manager coordinates the work of the healthcare team. There are the main contact for you and your family for all difficulties
  • The nurse provides the care necessary for your condition, on medical prescription
  • The auxiliary ensures your hygiene and comfort care in collaboration with the nurse
  • The hospital services agent performs maintenance tasks of the care service
  • The hospitality agent collects your requirements concerning meals and provides hospitality services
  • The social assistance worker helps you to deal with any administrative, material or family difficulty
  • The dietitian gives you nutrition advice and implements your meal plan prescribed by the doctor
  • The physiotherapist specialises in rehabilitation, on medical prescription

Meal

We strive to offer you a diverse and quality menu, adapted to your condition. If your meals are brought in from the outside, the institution can in no way guarantee the safety of these products and cannot assume responsibilities for it.
Meals may be offered to you according to your religious background.
Every day a hospitality agent will show you the available menus, please let them know your preferences.
If a special diet is prescribed, the dietician will come to speak to you.
Meals can be served to the accompanying persons on their request. They are charged separately.

Phone: incoming calls are free, and you have a direct number 04.28.27.02.40 followed by a 4-digit personal identifier. To open a telephone line for outgoing calls to the external public network, please make a request at the station 55 55 or report at the phone company office situated in front of the cafeteria. For 1 €, you will have an unlimited 24-hour access to calls.

Television: TV packages are available providing 24-hour access to numerous interactive services and on-demand content libraries.

Telephones: telephone booths are available on the square, the hall of the central admissions office, the reception service of emergencies, at the paediatric emergencies and the patios.

WIFI: there is a free WIFI access in hospital.

 

Site of Saint-Julien-en-Genevois

Phone: You have a phone in your ward. To activate it, call 9. The switchboard will provide you a personal code and a phone number on which you can be reached from 8 am to 9 pm. At the opening of your phone line, a non-refundable access fee of € 2 and € 15 of credits will be included on your account. In the end of your phone credits, you must go to the cashier to pay your access fee and your communications and / or renew your phone subscription if needed. When you leave the hospital, please go to the cashier to regularise your phone bill.

Television: the service is free. To put it into operation, please report to the care staff members.

Worship services

An interfaith common prayer facility is located on level 4. Clergymen can visit you. For the Catholic worship, the chaplaincy team can be reached at 04.50.63.62.07 or 06.34.02.24.15 (emergencies). They can also provide you with information on other religions.

Celebration timetable is indicated on the door of the prayer hall.

A chaplain is available for those who want to be accompanied by a representative of the Catholic worship. To join the chaplaincy service, dial 04.50.49.10.86. In case of absence, please call the hotline: 06.03.88.61.12. They can also give you more information on different confession services.

 

Leaving the hospital

Your discharge

The date of your discharge is set by your physician, however you are free to leave against medical advice. In this case you will be warned of the involved risks and asked to sign a document attesting that you have received all the necessary information.

 

Procedures for exit

To get your hospital report (necessary for your employer and insurance) and to pay any supplementary accommodation expenses, make your way to the Admission Office.
